Well what we are talking about here are habits, in all its varieties. In the ultimate sense, it is simply the patterns of our being and consciousness. They give way to repeated neuro-pathways slowly forming habits. Habits or tendencies of the body such as in the muscles (some holding tight, others slack), connective tissues of organs, alignment of bones ... all influence our mood, characteristics, personality etc.
The body creates a habitual way of holding itself in space. These habits are created through a compilation of factors that include but are not limited to:
1) Life experiences (this life or previous)- how we interpret them,
2) Stresses - physical, emotional, mental, spiritual - our ability to handle them
3) Karma.
We first start forming habits as toddlers. As we repeat certain actions or ways of being, we strengthen those neuropathways that in turn slowly create our habits. Considering reincarnation, we recognize that we are definitely not starting from scratch. Spiritualist believe that the habits (or latent tendencies) of our previous births carry over to this and future lifetimes. So our tendencies to feel, to think, to be, or excel in certain arenas are all intertwined with Karma and the habits we have already created. Some habits are good for our evolution and spiritual maturity, and some are not.
With the unique blend of Transformative healing and Chiropractic, we are literally looking at strengthening and supporting the healthy pathways, while weeding out the unhealthy ones. How is this done? Well unhealthy habits whether stemming from the spiritual, mental, emotional, or physical realm will cause a discord, dissonance, disharmony, or turbulence in the being of the person.
Lets take a look at a common example, lets say a person comes due to a physical pain. She has a highly mental & stressful job as well as unresolved family problems.
The issue here is a little tricky. She wants one thing, but in order to truly receive it, other issues must be resolved first. Here, we first have to assist her to work out the many years of turbulence deposited into the mental field. This is where the root of the issues for this person lies. By resolving the distortions created in the mental field she is easing the overall tensions of the consciousness. Mental tension works its way neurologically, hormonally, musculoskeletally etc. It influences all aspects of being including emotional, immuneal, and physically.
The progress of her healing is paced in accordance to her own capacity to integrate these experiences. As she allows herself to receive the healing, she starts to surrender to the experiences, thus letting go of the tensions she had created around them. Doing this allows her to harmonize the areas within that were exacerbating tensions, distortions, and imbalance. Now, reaching this state, instead of temporarily getting rid of physical pain, she is able to handle her mental stresses better.
So here are the major components that play a role on the overall results:
1) The persons faith and trust in the process, herself, the Supreme
2) The persons willingness to change
3) Divine Grace
4) The ability of the practitioner to be an instrument for healing
5) Karma
If these major components are aligned than healing is deep, profound, and long lasting. However, the issue that rises is, most of these patterns are very deeply rooted, and carried over from previous births. If the karma of that pattern is near completion than the healing could expedite the process. Most times, there are still a lot to resolve. In such a case we might not be able to completely uproot the issue, but we could make significant steps towards that goal while providing a better quality of life for the person during this process.
The reason people with excruciating pains get wonderful results is because they will do what it takes; there is a very high motivation in play. If we apply this level of motivation to resolving issues at the spiritual, mental, emotional level, the outcome would be exponentially greater than just the physical. Naturally consideration of ones age, strength, stamina, and endurance comes into play here, but for all intended purposes we are considering all factors aligned. To share an example, my friend Diego had a horrific motorcycle accident, crushing his spine at multiple segments, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down, internal bleeding, cauda equina syndrome and the list went on. He was told that without immediate medical intervention, no later than 72 hours, he would end up dead. Well he refused surgery and called in a chiropractor who flew into Mexico (where the accident took place) to work on this shattered body. Receiving an adjustment every 1-4 hours, Diego slowly started gaining his functions. In a short time started walking without the use of any support. Throughout the time he was going through this process he never once thought or entertained the idea that he will not walk. He was not in denial, but rather, it was never a possibility for him.
The thing is, Healing is a process, for most people, it is not spontaneous. It requires work and effort from both the giver and the receiver. If one has the attitude of "heal me", and does not engage in the process, then the service will be done to the greatest capacity of the persons will. If the will says, "My life is comfortable, whether good or bad, these are my habits and there is no reason for me to get rid of them", then the healer's capacity to serve is significantly limited. The healer will offer, but the person will only take a very small portion of the offering. As a result, the person will receive a tiny portion of what is available to him/her.
Most people who get the best results come in frequently, steadily, and consistently. This allows them to make small sequential steps in their evolution. It also provides them a safe and nurturing way to unravel, slowly breakthrough unwanted habits in a comfortable and non-threatening way.
